ABSTRACT

Introduction: Wood dust is a common occupational hazard, particularly in regions with significant wood-based industries, such as Calabar, Nigeria. Exposure to wood dust has been associated with a range of health issues extending to systemic alterations including haematological and immunologic changes. In this study, sawmill workers served as persons occupationally exposed to wood dust.
