Tuberculosis, a significant health concern and leading infectious disease in man, is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Research shows that Tuberculosis affects the coagulation factors and causes elongated Prothrombin Time (PT) and Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT) in infected subjects.
